Situated a mere 15 minutes South of Terrace in an idyllic setting on scenic Lakelse Lake, the Waterlily Bay Resort offers year-round accommodation in modern, spacious, fully equipped and furnished, two Bedroom Cottages.

Available also are Lakeside Campsites, with power and water, and, for those who prefer a little added privacy, there are a number of additional sites situated in a lush forest setting, thereby ensuring that the needs of all are adequately provided for.

Amenities include hot showers, a full service marina, with canoe, boat and pedalboat rental, and a covered, secure, Boat and RV Storage compound.

Surrounded by beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife, it offers an ideal setting for a relaxing vacation or stop-over, together with the opportunity to participate in many local sporting and recreational activities, including, arguably, the best fishing in Canada.

Seasonal activities include skiing, both downhill and cross-country, golfing, backpacking, rock climbing and hiking, and for the really exercise conscious, bird watching. The numerous logging roads in the area are also ideal for mountain biking, especially popular when combined with an interest in photography, as it opens up access to many natural surroundings.

Within easy reach also, are a number of local attractions, including one of the world's largest Aluminum Smelter's, something no visitor to this area should miss visiting.

In conclusion, the Resort has been in the Bowen-Colthurst Family for more than half a century, and has been operated by Michael and Melinda since 1970. Over the years they have seen many changes and have accumulated an abundance of local knowledge, a priceless source of information not available elsewhere, information which they will gladly share with any who may have need of it. And, of course, what better place to glean this information than in the relaxed atmosphere of an outdoor barbecue, or at one of the renowned Waterlily Bay Resort's annual 'Welcome in the Summer Solstice' gathering's. Very informal and, of course, everyone is invited, even the kid's.

However, so there are no surprises, as with all similar facilities, certain restrictions, necessary to avoid possible conflicts, and to preserve the tranquility, which are essential hallmarks of an enjoyable vacation, do apply, and regrettably therefore, pets are not allowed in the Cottages, and the operating of jet skis within the confines of the marina also is not permitted.

Even dogs at the Waterlily Bay Resort are as friendly as they come.
